Microsoft is always adding new exciting newfeatures for their Office 365 Products. In an effort to improve support for small- and medium-sized businesses, they introduced a series of new apps and enhancements for Office 365 during the Inspire conference in July. Some of the most notable upgrades include:
Email marketing campaigns are a good way to build relationships with prospects and increase sales, but sometimes they’re difficult to manage. By using Microsoft Connections, you can easily launch an email campaign in minutes using Microsoft supplied pre-designed templates for newsletters, promotion and referral requests.
As your contact database grows, Microsoft Connections allows you to segment your email list so you can target different customers with specific messages. For instance, you can send product promotions to customers who have purchased from you in the last six months.
After sending your emails, Connections gives youperformance charts track important metrics like your open rates, the clickthrough rates, new sign-ups, and even canceled subscriptions that can be used to improve future campaigns.
Microsoft Listings helps you easily manage your online presences. Whenever you update any one of your business profiles, Listings automatically publishes those changes across your Facebook, Google, Bing, and Yelp accounts! This allows you to keep important information like business hours up to date.
Listings also includes a web based dashboard where you can monitor your page-views, reviews, and likes, a centralized place to assess your company’s online reputation.
Another new addition is Microsoft Invoicing, Microsoft Invoicing is a tool that helps you generate your price estimates and customer invoices. This application works for credit, debit, and PayPal transactions.
Office 365 Business Center
The new Office 365 Business Center brings all these new features together. Connections, Listings, and Invoicing all under one roof. This means most information listed on any one application is automatically list in the others. This integration saves you from inputting data multiple times.
The main Office 365 Business Center also features a unified dashboard . Here you can track any email campaign’s performance, all your Facebook impressions, and any of your outstanding invoices, giving you full visibility into your invoicing and marketing processes.
According to Microsoft, these powerful features will be generally available for Office 365 Business Premium subscribers in the coming months. But if you want to get early access, consider joining the Office 365 Insider program.
